Building Bridges & Navigating Respect, Safety and Connection Online: The Complete Stage 3 Bundle (Years 5–6)
A two year digital wellbeing pathway for Years 5 and 6, giving your school a consistent, curriculum aligned program that matures with students as their relationships and online worlds grow more complex.
Year 5, Building Bridges, lays the foundation: students learn rights and responsibilities in friendships, noticing their own safety signals, a simple structured approach to resolving conflict, recognising unfair treatment, media literacy and comparison culture, support networks and help seeking, and a first, age appropriate introduction to consent language. It closes with a hands on Building Bridges Expo.
Year 6, Navigating Respect, Safety and Connection Online, builds directly on this foundation with genuinely new content matched to growing independence: managing friendship change, a fuller five step conflict resolution pathway, recognising discrimination and coercion, comparison culture’s effect on friendships and self esteem, reading emotional and physical warning signs, and assertive consent scripting. It closes with students designing and pitching a real Safer Communities Campaign.
Each unit includes:
- 8 fully sequenced lesson plans with explicit teaching notes, success criteria and formative assessment guidance
- A complete set of printable student resources and worksheets
- A curriculum mapped assessment rubric (Emerging, Achieving, Going Beyond)
- A teacher appendix, parent/carer communication template and family discussion prompts
Why schools choose the bundle:
One consistent, strengths based, trauma informed approach across two year levels, with every Year 6 lesson intentionally building on Year 5 rather than repeating it. No prep, no gaps, and no fear based messaging, just a genuine two year progression that helps students carry real respect, resilience and responsibility into their relationships and digital lives, right as they head into high school.
